SureClinical hires new Global VP of Sales from Dell Software Division to fuel worldwide growth.

SureClinical, a leader in cloud-based health science applications, today announced that Louis (Lou) E. Chappuie will join SureClinical’s executive team as Global Vice President of Sales.
Chappuie will be focused on helping SureClinical to drive sales and customer experience as well as to attract and retain key sales and service talent. Mr. Chappuie joins SureClinical from
Dell Boomi, a business unit within Dell’s software division where he was instrumental in the launch of
Boomi AtomSphere and growth of the company to more than 1,200 customers globally. Dell Software is one of the largest software companies in the world, with a $1.2 billion business selling into 90 percent of Fortune 1000 companies and supported by 6,000 dedicated software employees worldwide.

Chappuie brings to SureClinical a wealth of experience in the software and service industry with 15 years’ experience leading sales, business development and partner development teams. Prior to SureClinical, Chappuie was Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Partner Programs for Dell Boomi where he held responsibility for global strategic customers, partner acquisition, and channel development. Chappuie led the successful launch of the Dell Boomi Healthcare initiative, resulting in HL7 standard compliance and the deployment of Dell Boomi at Health Insurance Exchanges such as the State of Massachusetts. Boomi was acquired by Dell in 2010 following its rapid growth and visionary introduction of the first, multi-tenant middleware cloud which was recently recognized by Gartner Group as the leader in the enterprise cloud application integration Magic Quadrant. Before Boomi, Chappuie served as the Vice President of the Education Systems Division for MAXIMUS, Inc., where he led the growth of the division’s business from $2.0M to over $80M in sales. At Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Chappuie further gained international enterprise software and service experience as a manager working in its PeopleSoft practice.

Chappuie holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
